Welcome to the Hash-Check blog

This is the Hash-Check blog — where we explain why you should store your cryptographic hashes somewhere independent, and how checksum verification can catch file alterations before they become incidents.

What to expect here

  • File integrity — how hash storage and checksum verification work in practice, without the jargon.
  • Threats & tampering — what altered files look like in the wild, and how to detect them early.
  • Product updates — new features in Hash-Check and why we built them.

Why a blog?

If the only copy of your hash sits next to the file it describes, you have no way of knowing whether either one has been changed. An independent record turns "I think this file is fine" into "I can prove this file is unchanged."

We'll be publishing regularly.
